Reef Check is the world largest international coral reef monitoring program involving recreational divers and marine scientists.

Blue Heaven Holidays and Desert Divers are organizing in the period 01.-07.11.2005 and 07.-14.11.2004 a special Reef Check Event in Dahab. Diving in Dahab and in the Protectorates and Nationalparks around. We will conduct Reef Checks at divesites, hardly anybody visited before. The highlight will be a two days Camel-Diving-Safari. |

The one week program "Reef Check, Nationalparks & Camel-Dive-Safari" in details:

Day 1:
Arrival and check in at Mirage Village, our Reef Check "base" for the next days
Day 2:
Reef Check training including slide shows, presentations, seminars, introduction to reef ecology and the Reef Check method

Day 3:
Diving in Dahab / 2 dives (one "Fun"-Dive and one scientific Reef Check dive)
Day 4:
Diving in Dahab / 2 dives (one "Fun"-Dive and one scientific Reef Check dive)

Day 5:
Boat-diving at the Protectorate "Gabr el Bint" / 2 dives ("Fun"-dives or upon request another Reef Check dive)

Day 6 and 7:
2 days / overnight Camel-Dive-Safari to the Nationalpark "Ras Abu Galoum"; 4 dives (two of which Reef Check dives), overnight in beach huts under the stars; fullboard during the Camel-Dive-Safari
Day 8:
Transfer to the airport

The Mirage Village is a small hotel on the beach, just 5 minutes walk from Desert Divers Dive Center and the main Dahab Bay. Lovely rooms in plaster and dark wood, with en suite bathroom and air conditioning.
The rate includes 6 nights Bed & Breakfast at Mirage Village in double rooms, diving and Reef Check program as described above, airport transfer Sharm el Sheikh - Dahab and vice versa.
