Being a diver you are seeking for more underwater knowledge. Most divers are curious about the ecosystems. Our Marine Biology Seminars are offered and conducted by a team of biologists at the fabulous Red Sea. The objective of the seminars is to study the inhabitants of the Red Sea as coral formation, fishes, invertebrates, mammals. A daily program with enjoyable scientific explanation. Choose your favorite out of 9 interesting subjects.

The seminar is specially designed for certified divers without further knowledge in biology (special programs for snorkelers are available upon request) who are interested in underwater life and the biology of their inhabitants. The sequence of the seminar includes on daily basis a theoretical introduction with slide show and video presentation followed by a dive closely with marine biologist.
Our aim is to raise up awareness for nature and environment.

The seminar will explain in theory and praxis ecology, lifestyle and design of different animals living in the Red Sea as corals, sponges, echinoderms, molluscs, fishes and mammals. The purpose of this seminar is to show the chain of life for under water living creatures in the relation and interaction. Also the economical value for the existence of coral reefs and the marine life and its effect in supporting human beings on their daily living in the form of a tourism industry. After the seminar applicants might be interested in attending a U/W Photo or U/W Video courses to create their own presentations for friends and family members whom might be stimulated the wonders of the underwater world.

Trips to Elphinestone are depending on weather conditions and a minimum number of 4 divers. An extra charge of 25 Euro per personhas to be paid on the spot. |

Minimum age 12 years, PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver certificate or similar brevet
a minimum number of 4 participants is required (maximum number of participants is 10) |
