Accommodation in Tondoba Bay - Blue Heaven Holidays

Tondoba Bay, located 14 km south of Marsa Alam, directly in front of Samadai Reef (Dolphin House), is a new and virgin diving destination at the southern Red Sea. The house reef is one of the best in the entire Red Sea.

Tondoba Lodge

The Tondoba Lodge opened 2004. Located 14 km south of Marsa Alam Tondoba Bay offers a beside a fantastic house reef a good access to the best dive sites of the southern Red Sea. The simple lodge is an ideal place for people who like a simple natural way of holidays.

		On a little hill top, only 300 m from the beach, the 12 bungalows (communal shower and toilets) are located in groups of three. The bungalows are built in the traditional Upper-Egyptian way with stones, stroh and palm tree leaves. The thick walls and the special roof construction let the bungalow stay cool enough without requiring air-conditioning and keeps moscitos away. The bungalows are equipped with 2 beds (separate or together as double bed), wardrobe and/or hangers, floor cussins and table. the rooms have a wooden door and a big window with wooden jalousie.

Facilities of the Lodge:
The comunal toilet and showers are in a separate building, located close to the bungalows.
The restaurant is located on hillside and overlooking the sea. The bar is on the highest point of the lodge with a beautiful overview of the whole bay and the Red Sea mountains.

Extra:
Full board includes three meals per day. All meals are provided as buffet. Mineralwater included with the meals.

Transfer:
The transfer from Hurghada airport takes approximately 4:00h.
The new airport in Marsa Alam opened in November 2001. The transfer from Marsa Alam airport takes 1 h.

Note:
At the moment electricity is provided for 12 h a day!
Torch lights and multisocket are recommended
Please bring your own towels!
Alcohol is not available at Tondoba Bay. Guest can purchase alcohol, beer and wine at the Duty Free Shops at the airports. Fridges at the lodges can be used free of charge.
Euro and US $ are accepted, Credit Cards, Traveller Cheques and Euro Cheques cannot be accepted.
